About Site Distiller

We believe that within the next five years, "how AI agents consume your content" will be just as important as "how human users read it."

Why Site Distiller

In 2026, AI agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) are already a significant source of web traffic. But traditional analytics tools (Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible) treat AI traffic as ordinary crawlers — ignoring it or mislabeling it as "direct" — which leaves content creators blind to the real traffic structure.

Site Distiller solves two core problems:

  • AI traffic detection: automatically recognize visits from 20+ AI agents, distinguishing training crawls from user citations
  • Multi-dimensional source analysis: 5 source categories (search, social, AI, referral, direct) with 11 sub-dimensions

Current status

Site Distiller launched in 2026 and is currently in public beta. Every feature is free, with no feature limits, no watermarks, and no trial period. The official release will introduce paid tiers (Free / Pro / Enterprise), and all early users automatically receive grandfathered discounts.

Roadmap highlights:

  • Real-time event stream (WebSocket / SSE)
  • Custom events and conversion funnels
  • AI citation detection (which content AI actually cites vs. just crawls)
  • Team collaboration (multi-user, role-based permissions)
  • Webhooks and public API
